Thank you, Ken!

Dear friends at Cafe Frosch and Eigo Night,

Today I spent my first day in my new home city of Bogor, Indonesia. On Tuesday, I will start my new job with the Wildlife Conservation Society (www.wcs.org) helping with their marine conservation programs in Indonesia. It is a dream job for me and Fareea and I are both excited to be here.

But, we are both very sad to leave Kyoto. I was so lucky to be able to host Eigo Night for 1.5 years. It was always the best part of my week and made my stay in Kyoto very special to me.

I always knew that I would meet new friends and see many friendly and fun faces every Wednesday night. The interesting conversations, parties, games and people made me very happy. I want to thank you all for your friendship and support during my time as host of Eigo Night. The great guests make Eigo Night fun every week! :-)

I want to really thank Fumie Takai, Akiko Yamada, Vërøñïcà Ládéñ, Jan Grigat, Maximilian Fischer, Gintarė Sauliūtė, Nathan Badenoch, Thomas Erwin and Natasha for their support and help. Without them, Eigo Night would not be the same.

Mostly, it is Sumi Sadahisa who makes Cafe Frosch one of Kyoto's real treasures. Thank you, Sumi, for everything.

If anyone wants to come visit Bogor, you are always welcome!

And please continue to support Eigo Night, the new hosts (Nathan Badenoch Gintarė Sauliūtė), and Cafe Frosch.

All the best - Ken
